Sarah Eleanor vs. Amelia Nancy vs. Laura Meredith

I want my daughter to have a real name. I’m so tired of people giving their children names that sound made up. That just isn’t my style at all. My daughters from my first marriage are Natalie Michelle (16) and Lindsay Rebekah (13).

I love Sarah Eleanor. I am kind of partial to that name. My sister is Sarah Ellen. Great names! I am into more classic or traditional names also. I hate this trend of made-up names. At least I know that my child will have one of the nicest names in her/his class.

I agree about the made up names. I like Sarah Eleanore and Laura Meredith. I have never like Amelia or Nancy though, but if you like them use them because they are not bad names, as you said, they are real which is very refreshing. Good Luck. Feel free to check out my poll of my quads and vote on my real names too!

I am partial to Laura Meredith as that is my name. I also agree on the traditional names. I am an Ed Asst and I find it very hard to spell and pronounce some of the names parents hand out these days. Many are unique but usually they get mixed reactions from peers when given names like Dweezil and Moon unit
(no offense Alice Cooper and fans)) but you get my drift.
