Hollis nn Holly vs. Whitley

I don’t know if I’m having a girl or boy. If it’s a boy, he’ll be Mark Chandler, but, I’m really having a hard time finding a girls name that I love as much as my first dds name and that also goes well with her name (Karrigan Rose). Please vote on these two and offer suggestions if you would like. Thanks.

I actually know a girl named Hollis and she loves her unique name! I also know a person whose Last name is Whitley-- I only like it as a last name. Hollis is very cute and goes well with Karrigan!

I had a friend named Hollis and she hated..She always went by Holly

and no on Whitley...maybe Whitney is better

They’re both surnames. Holly and Whitney are pretty though.

How about just Holly. Much prettier than Hollis, which sounds very masculine.

I think Kelsey would be darling with Karrigan. Karrigan Rose and Kelsey Rae, maybe? Chelsea would be darling with it as well. Good luck.

Hollis makes me think of the neighborhood in Queens and the Run DMC song: "It’s Christmastime in Hollis, Queens, Mom’s making chicken and collard greens..."

I prefer Holly. :)

Not a darn thing wrong with Hollis. If you love it, go for it. I also like the pp suggestion of Chelsea.

Thanks guest. Chelsea is cute, I’m def. running it by dh. It reminded me of last years Big Brother, the girl on there was named Chelsia prn Chel see ah. Thoughts on that anyone?
