Blaize vs. Blaise

You won’t offend me... I’m not sold on it. Just need some outside opinions before I give my husband the final verdict on the name. :) I keep thinking that it sounds a bit to American Gladiator?? (maybe I shouldn’t have posted that- it might sway your thinking!!) :)
Yes!!! It’s totally American Gladiator! It reminds me of being home sick from elementary school and watching Ice and Turbo beat the crap out of housewives with foam bats. :)

I prefer the spelling Blaise because it reminds me of Blaise Pascal the famous physicist/ mathematician BUT when I hear the name I definitely think of it as a little lower brow than that. If you’re having reservations, keep looking!

It sounds like a cross between a cartoon charcter and a soap opera star! Not trying to be rude! Just giving my honest opinion! Its cute for a little boy but I think a man named Blaise/Blaze would have trouble being taken seriously in the business world!
