It is definitely known to people who have been on this site more than a few months, since someone keeps posting questions about it and has been for years. Same person, always with the same questions: Do you know anyone with this name? How would you pronounce it? Have you heard of it?
So...yeah, I’ve definitely heard of it and I hate it with a major intensity now.

yes, I knew one person in high school with this name. I think it’s nice. I’m not sure how you’re pronouncing it, but I like it regardless.

never heard it except with the name tamara. it’s nice on it’s own though. allison is cute too. you can’t go wrong with either one.

I have never heard of it but it is a nice name because she would never have the same name as someone else ya know?!

It’s definitely not a unique name. I’ve heard of it, I just don’t care for it since a lot of people have a hard time knowing how to say it.
