i like the name Jake as a nickname for Jacob Dylan is cute but to me its more little kiddish sounding but its still a great name Carter is by far the most Mature and the most Handsome

Jake Ryan sounds a bit too much like Jack Ryan to me (main character from the Tom Clancy books and movies). Not that most people would notice, but it would probably come up at some point, so unless you want the connection maybe better to avoid it.

I like Jake and think it goes best with your kids but prefer Jacob Ryan or Jacob James nn J.J. would be really cute with Andy and Maddie!

Um, hello! Am I so old at 27 that I’m the only one who remembers Jake Ryan, the quarterback character in Sixteen Candles? As far as I’m concerned, if you want your son to have major game, by all means name him Jake Ryan!!! :)

I think Jake Ryan was a character on Hannah Montana. It was one of the guys she really liked.
Carter James is cute, but I like Carter Dylan too.
