Ela vs. Norah vs. Eleanor
I want to name my daughter after my grandmother. But i dont really like Eleanor. so I was thinking of shorting it. and i think it would still be honoring her. since there will be a little piece of her in the name. but do you like Ela or Norah better?
or do you think i should just keeps it as Eleanor. the middle name will be either Mallory, Melanie or Melody. wdyt?

I love the idea of shortening it to honor her. Ela looks like a typo and not like a full name. I love Norah though. I think it is such a classic and pretty name. Eleanor is just too dated. GL!

While I do love Eleanor, I think Ella, Nora, or even Nell would make great names to honor an Eleanor.
