Summer is cute.Emma is has more elegance. If you thimk your kid will have spunk choose Summer. If you think she will be more quiet choose Emma. You will know when you first see her =) Good Luck!

I think you should definitely knock Emma off the list. Emma is the number 1 name in America for little girls right now---and do you really want your daughter to be one of four Emma’s in her class? Because she WILL be if you name her Emma. Summer is a very cute name. I like it much more, and Emma would make a good middle name for it if you haven’t picked one out yet.

Emma is WAY overused but I love Summer! Emmeline instead of Emma?
