Please vs. Help?!?!

Hi it’s Laurel again. I was planning on naming my son Wesley Paytin but I got a negative reaction from my parent’s and my boyfriend’s parents. Do you think I should still use the name even though his grandparents don’t like it? I really loved Wesley Paytin, but now I might have to start from scratch again. Please tell me if I should change his name or keep it. If you think I should change it please give me some name suggestions. Thanks- Laurel, Ryan, and baby boy.

don’t tell them the name until the birth certificate is issued.

you are the parents so you get to name your own child.

I agree with the other poster. I’m personally not a fan of the name and don’t think it flows that well, but it’s still up to you. I would consider spelling Paytin the right way though. Did you have other names in mind? If so, you should make a list and ask for their opinions.

I wanted to spell it Paytin because Paytin is a family name. The only other name I had in mind was Samuel Donovan. What do you all prefer?

Wesley Paytin OR
Samuel Donovan

Keep it.YOUR the one carrying him and getting kicked in the ribs.My dh and I just kept names to yourselves until after the birth.

Wesley Donovan is great.
