Not a big fan of Ollie or Amelia.
What about Oliver (no nickname) and Milly as official first names? Takes care of the match-y issue as well.

Oliver and Amelie am-ih-lee both 3 syllables.
i think the nn are not too similar.

I LOVE, LOVE both of these names and nicknames! I don’t think the nick names are too matchy. I think you have two adorable names picked out the go nicely together without being cheesy! Good luck!

Oliver and Amelia are wonderful names. The nicknames you’ve thought of are adorable and you’ll probably use them when your children are little. Once they are older people will know them as Oliver and Amelia and those names go very well together for a brother and sister. It’s adorable when little kids have cutsy nicknames. :-)

Do you have to have a nn? Ollie and Milly are very similar... I like both names without nick names, but if you like nns go with
Ollie and Amy
Ollie and Mia
Ollie and Lia
Ollie and Mila (mee luh)
