Yes, I did. When I realized he was ok with his name, that was all that mattered. If I could go back in time, I would change it still, though I like the name, but it is unisex.

I don’t regret what I named my child I regret what my mom named me Brittney with being born right in the middle of that name boom its such a hassle having so many people with the same name thats why I like more uncommon old fashioned names.

I named my son a name. then after saying it sooo many time I really don’t like it and do not know y i named him that. I gave him a nn that we both love.

After I named my son, I began hearing that many people are naming their daughters the same name. I had NO clue that we would run into this problem. I thought of his name as strictly a boy’s name! If it turns out that there are more girls than boys with his name, we will call him by his middle name, which is clearly masculine.

4th and 5th posters I had the EXACT same problem with my two oldest sons. They’re 17 and 19 now, though.

My sons are named Taylor (he goes by TJ a lot) and Jordan.

Love both of the names Taylor and Jordan. I know a girl and a boy with each name. They seemed ok with it.

I have a 17 year old son named Jordan too and although I still love the name,I do worrry about the fact that people use it for girls now.
