Need advice about vs. Payton!!!!!!!!!
We love Payton for a boy. I realize its becoming a "girly" name, and normally that wouldnt bother me, but...........my brother’s wife has a niece name Peyton. So if we name our boy Payton, then my brother would have a niece Peyton and a nephew Payton. The two would most likely only see each other once every several yrs if that often. Would you go ahead and use it??

Since they’re technically not related I wouldn’t think it would be a big deal. I’ve never met any of my cousin’s cousins if that’s what they’d be. lol

Go ahead and use it. You probably will never even see your brother’s niece. The only time I ever even saw my brother’s wife’s niece was at his wedding 5 years ago.

I agree you should use it. The only person I have ever heard of named Payton is the football player Payton Manning. I see this name on a lot of girl polls, but have never actually met a girl with this name. I definitely think it sounds masculine.
