Drew Ted vs. Yes vs. No
Hi, we are having a boy and want to name him after my father and my husband’s father. My father’s name is Drew, not short for Andrew, which we want to use as the first name. My husband would really like to make his father Ted happy, who has terminal cancer, by using Ted as the middle name. Ted is short for Theodore, but Ted HATES being called Theodore. He says he be honored to have grandson named after him, but only if we use Ted. Drew Ted sounds akward, but do you think it would be okay to use? Thanks, Julie
