Hi, we absolutely adore this name for our little guy, but not convinced it sounds masculine enough. What do you think? And we don’t like the name Albert, just Alby/Albie. Thanks, Scott and Emma.

i think that it is only ok with a masculine full name to back it up. maybe you can find a differnt name that could have albie as a nn. GL!!

How about Allen Bennet, nn Alby...Allen B. ___. That way, he can have the nn you love at home and can decide when he is older if he want to keep it.

I think if Albie is your favourite name than you should name your son that. But I would give him a masculine middle name. Say William or John or Daniel.

I like the Allen Bennet nn Alby option. I just don’t see Alby as a 30 year old professional. Other options
Allen Breckan
Allen Benson
Allen Beau
Allen Breckan
Allen Benson
Allen Beau

I’ve met one little boy named Albie, he was Asian if this helps. I can’t imagine this name on a girl so I think it would be fine!
Best of luck!
