It’s too feminine for a boy. I definitely like it best for a girl. Still, because it is so unisex, I would never use it.

I’ve seen Reilly for a boy, but every other spelling I have seen on girls.

Style wise, I prefer it for boys, but I’d never use it now because it’s been used on so many girls (hate it on girls, but once enough momeighs decide it’s cute, that’s the way it goes)!

I pity the poor mom who named her son Addison 3 or 4 years ago (means Adam’s Son, but "it’s so cute," on girls-bah!)

I consider Riley a boy name. I actually named my male puppy this. It fits him so well. Riley is cute on a girl, but it’s wierd at the same time. When you change the spelling it still sounds the same and it sounds better as a boy name.
