no offense but Ellery? like cellery? just pointed out the bullying potential, trying to be helpful, probably insulting more than aiding but I just wanted to point it out. nn’s are good, though you rly cant predict nn’s. Heck if you go with Ellery she’ll probly be called cellery =]

Meaning of Ellery is Cheerful according to baby names world .com I really like it and prefer it to Hilary. Not really a Mallory fan. I know a 13 year old Ellery and she is wonderful!

thank-you Amber but Ellery is staying. I don’t see the big thing with Ellery and Celery so what it’s not like it’s a bad word and it’s not like Jorja and Hope. It’s staying thanks!

I don’t see why that teasing would be so horrible. Hello Anna Banana, Hannah Banana, Joanna Banana you don’t hear them boo-hooing about their little nicknames Ellery Celery is fine.

I think Ellery is fine. it does rhyme with celery, but there are plenty of other names that people use that have much worse rhymes associated with them---- Tucker, Mitch, Nick, etc etc.
I don’t really like any of your middle name choices, though. If it must be one of the three, I’d go with Ellery Saundra, just because Saundra is a little harder and shorter.

I think Ellery is adorable - much better than Mallory - but I’m not too keen on any of your mn choices. How about Ellery Claire?

I think the nn Ellie is more cute and Elle seems more classic and sophisticated, maybe a nn when she is older. Ellery is ok, but I think Ellie or Elle as the full name would be even better.
