Briley vs. Brylie vs. Brylee

We saw this name the other day and kind of liked it. Do you think it is for a girl? It’s sounds like it to me. Which spelling would you use? Do you like it? How would Nicole sound for a middle name? Thank you. (I guess it’s pron. BRY-LEE)

Briars are thorns aren’t they? I like Briely pro Bree-lee. Briley is definately more fem than Riley so atleast you went with something better

How is Briley more feminine than Riley? Neither one is pretty at all but at least Riley isn’t made up.
Briars are thorns, and it is also a name. Sleeping Beauty is also called Aurora and Briar Rose.

Love Aurora...how about that name? Aurora Nicole :) Riley is originally a boy’s name and all names were made up at some point so please calm yourself.

We really like up comming trendy names...so we thought Brylie was cute and different.

Well then I would suggest Brylie Nicolette or Brylie Aurora.... Brylie Nicole sounds flat to me, sorry. I think that you should go with what you really love though :)

Everyone is calm here Jessica, although I’ve seen you get yourself worked into a complete frenzy over the name Darwin so you’re not really one to be throwing stones. I was simply stating an OPINION that Briley is (or at least sounds) made-up, which is not becoming IN MY OPINION. If I’m not mistaken, that is what the poster was asking for. Thanks so much.

opinions are fine...let it go.

apparently you are here often since you remember that several months ago I stated that I did not like Darwin for personal reasons. Most people on here do not use a name because they like to get folks worked up but remain unknown which is exactly what you appear to be doing so, once again, let it go and offer additional opinions

If you really love Brylee,( that’s the spelling I prefer), then go for it! it’s your child. If you think it’s TOO unique try it as a mn? S ophia Brylee for example.

I think it’s cute! I love it! Briley or Brylee would be my favorite. I’m not sure which one I like better. I like MrsZ suggestion, but I like Brylee Sophia even better! GL!

I love Brylee.... and Nicole is a good mn but Nicole is extremely common....but since Brylee is uncommon i would use a common name so it isnt too "trendy".

I have really always loved the name. Also it is not made up. It is a name for hunting gear and guns(my dad is a hunter). I would suggest spelling it Brylee of Brylie bc Briley is how the brand name is spelled. My name is Dannon like the yogurt and although I like my name I wish my parents would have changed the spelling.
