Lena Mercedes vs. Lina Mercedes vs. Adelina Mercedes

My DH would like to honor his two grandmothers who’s names are Adelina & Mercedes (Ah-day-LEE-nah & Meher-SAY-dees). We came up with Lena/Lina Mercedes. What do you think? Suggestions and cronstructive criticism are great!

IMO Lena Mercedes does not flow well. Adelina Mercedes flows much better and I think it sounds better.

I think it’s a great name...but if you suddenly change your mind but still want to honor their names using slightly similar ones...try Adelyn Mercy or Meri Deline or blend the names and try Madeline or Merlina or Melina or Aleece.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I wasn’t able to get back to this site for a few days so I’m sorry I didn’t comment sooner. I prefer LENA over LINA as well. Thanks again!
