With Macy and Maisy you are confusing two different names, not two different spellings for the same name.
Macy = may-cee
Maisy = Daisy with an M instead of a D; May-zee
Personally, I think Maisy is prettier.

Maysen no matter how you spell it "Mason" is a boys name! Try Maegan or go with Macy!

With all due respect, Maisy and Maisie are established names pronounced MAY-zee.
To pronounce Maisy as MAY-see would be really confusing... kind of like naming a baby Julie but choosing to pronounce it ju-LYE.
I, personally, do not care for the name Mason on a girl, no matter how it is spelled.
If you love the sound of Macy, but not the spelling, you could choose Macey, Maci, Macie, or even Maycee if you so desired to elicit the correct pronunciation.
Maycee Rae or Maycee Grace would each be cute, but they would be awfully close to the singer Macy Gray.
Also, Macie could work as a nn for Mackenzie... Mackenzie Rae nn Macie would be very pretty.
Best wishes!

to poster # 5..MASON being a boys name is an opinion..especially nowadays, it is simply another unisex name, like Hayden, Avery, Devon, Bailey etc..etc.. I think maysen is cute for a girl!!

Yeah it’s a unisex name because ppl have made that which is absolutely awful and if your gonna point me out the don’t you think you should have said something to the poster below me. Because she said she didn’t care for Mason on a girl and neither do I. She’ll be made fun of more than you know!

Mary Claire nn Maycee
Maya Christine nn Maycee
FYI, you mentioned wanting something
uncommon, but not too out there... I think May with a C mn might be a great solution. May was not in the top 1,000 first names for a girl born in the US last year. And, May lends itself very well to Maycee, Macy, etc.
May Calista
May Camille
May Carissa
May Caroline
May Carys
May Cassandra
May Catherine
May Cecile
May Celeste
May Celine
May Charlize
May Cheyenne
May Christine
May Chrysanne
May Clarissa
May Colette
May Colleen
May Coraline
May Corinne
May Cosima
Best wishes!

I’d spell it Maci or Macy
What about:
Maci Leann
Macy Leann
instead of Leah or Grace?

Maisie/Maisy is a nn for Margaret fyi. I like the spelling Maisie but it’s cute with the y too.
I like Macy as well. Macy Elizabeth or another mn that is more "traditional" to balance it out?
The one female Mason I’ve heard of is Kelsey Grammar’s daughter. I prefer it for a boy but don’t think it’s too masculine for a girl. I just met a little girl named Landon so it’s just whatever the parents like of course.

Probably already chosen your name...but, I’ll say my piece. Our first daughter is Maya Elizabeth and our next (due in august) we’ve decided on Maizy Kate. Hope you’re happy with whatever you decided on!

Sorry, but maisy is pronounced MAY-ZEE as well as Maizy. If you like MAY-CEE then the only way to spell it is Macy or macey or Maci or macie
