We like the name Liam, but our last name starts with M, and someone told us that it sounds like we are saying Leah M--------. We didn’t realize it, until she said it. Do you notice?

I notice. The only way it doesn’t sound like Leah M.. is if you really stress the m on Liam. Still, It would not be a big deal to me since it would be obvious that his name is not Leah. It really depends on how much it bothers you. GL!

I am also considering using Liam as my sons first name and our last name starts with M as well. I don’t think it will be that big of a problem.
