I love it. We wanted to name our little girl Avery but found out that the little girl next door was already named Avery - so we chose Danica instead. And Nicole is very classic and simple. I like it

I have a niece named Avery Elizabeth. I prefer Avery Nicole better because i do not like the name Elizabeth. It is very girly!!!

Sorry the only Avery I know is a 3 year old boy. But I like Avery with the nn Ava for a girl =)

Really dislike it, sorry. Too trendy, too unisex, and not pretty or feminine enough IMO.

i also dislike it for a girl. The only Avery’s i know have all been boys. i dont see anything femine about it.

You already said it was a family name, but you asked for opinions. No one is going to know it is a family name. If you use it I think you should use a less common/trendy/boyish fn to balance it because I don’t find Nicole to be pretty or feminine either.

Avery has been a boy name FOREVER and has only recently been used on girls, which does not make it girly or sweet

I don’t know any Avery’s, but it sounds girly to me. Avery Nicole sounds very pretty.

Avery Nicole is my nieces name and I love it! Avery is NOT a boy’s name, it is almost in the top 10 on the girl’s list. There are lots of names that used to be boys that are strictly girls now. I think Avery is one of them. Good Luck!
