I have a cousin named Lafe (pn. Layf) It’s a storng and uncommon name... I say go for it!

I agree with Tess that there would probably be a lot of teasing re: Leaf. He’d continuosly have to explain the spelling. Maybe if you came up with a different spelling. However, I do like the name I just feel it would lead to teasing etc.

I think its a classic name, most people are familiar with it and it won’t lend to much teasing (especially considering some of the other names I have seen on this site!)
