My daughter is 11 and her name is Haylie Nicole but she goes by Nicole... I obviously liked it enough to use it!

It seems to be used as a mn on here a lot, which is interesting.
I think it’s a pretty name, but it was pretty popular in the 70’s, so I know a lot of moms named Nicole, which makes it hard for me to picture on a little girl.
I also really, really dislike the nn Nicki, which just doesn’t seem classy to me.
On the other hand, she would be sure to be the only one in her class, it’s clearly feminine and doesn’t sound made up, and it’s easy to spell.
I do think it sounds fine with Kelly, as Kelly is another name I associate with that era....others would be Melissa, Kimberly, Lisa, Jennifer, Angela....
