IMO Finley is a fine name- but for me it just ends at a cutesy name for a little girl but teenage, adult years i could never see it on a Doctor, Lawyer, Librarian, Teacher, ETC...

I don’t particularly care for it and I see it more on a boy. Other names:

Its just ok in my opinon. Its not a name that I’d use for a little girl, but I guess its does have a "unique" feeling to it. If you like a name that much, then you should use it. You may regret it later on.

I think it’s fine to use on a girl, it is a unisex name. I’ve actually seen it more often lately on girls. I think it could be cute, but it’s not my personal taste, so I voted OK.

I think Finley is good for either a boy or a girl but have heard it on girls more often than boys lately so I think you’d be fine!

My daughter just named her baby girl Keagan so I see nothing wrong with Finley for a girl!
