I really like the name Evangeline but am not sure if it sounds to over-done and long. We would probably use a nick name of Eva or Lina but I really like it. Is it just to much. Evangeline Rose.

Keep Evangeline. It might be a long name, but it’s full of beauty and nickname options that way. Eva and Lina are gonna be the nicknames anyway.

I like Evangeline, nn Eva. And, like the pp mentioned, she will go by her nn most of the time!

I love Evangeline. It’s beautiful. I don’t think it’s too much, but I do like the idea of a nn since it is a mouthful to say, especially for children to say. I love the nn Eva, not a fan of Lina. Evangeline Rose is beautiful. GL!

Eva is nice and so are Evi (short e) or Evie or Lina. Or you could just use the full Evangeline, which is very pretty!
