I think Hazaiah works well for a boy, it’s close to Josiah and Elijah with the ending. Haziel is too close to Hazel used for girls.

How does Hazaiah look like a girl name? I can see Haziel, because it looks like Hazel...

i like the sound of both but i can’t tell if they’re for boys or girls sorry, i agree that Hazaiah is similar to Josiah, Elijah, Isaiah etc, but i can also see it being similar to Hadassah or Shoshana, and Haziel is similar to Hazel, but also Azriel which is unisex.

I didn’t mean to offend you, just giving my opinion. I’ve never heard either of those names and until I read it was for a boy I didn’t realize. Lots of girls names end in an ’a’ sound, and the second one looked kind of like Hazel, so that’s why I immediately thought boy.
