Baby vs. Girl

I’m expecting a little girl in just a few days time and still don’t have a name for her. I want her to have a double first name (WITH a hyphen). One of those names will be Rose. Her middle name will be Belle or Bella. (Both Rose and Belle/Bella are after family members. They’re staying). I’ve got a list of names which I’ll post in the first comment. Please help me decide before she comes along! Thankyou - Yaz.

Hello, Congrats on the girl! First I would like to bring to your attention that I would avoid using any Elle names like Ella or Ellie because Ella-Rose Bella or Ellie-Rose Belle don’t flow good because Ella is in Bella and Elle is in Belle. I like those names but with the middle name you plan to use I would save it for the next possible girl. I would Also use Bella since it’s two syllables after Rose which is one it just sounds better IMO. Other than that I really like:

Ava-Rose Bella
Leah-Rose Bella
Annie-Rose Bella
Tahlia-Rose
Kaia-Rose
Abby-Rose
Megan-Rose

Have you thought of Lily-Rose Bella?

Thankyou very much! I actually totally spaced on the Elle, Belle, Ella, Bella! Woops!
I can’t use Lily-Rose as my niece’s name is Lily, so that’s out I’m afraid. Thanks again! :)

But the Belle/Bella doesn’t seem to flow very well.

how about just Bella-Rose?

I’d considered Bella-Rose, but Isabella/Bella have become such popular first names. Should I think again about the Bella/Belle middle name? I mainly want the double first name with Rose as one. Thanks again.

Ava-Rose Bella or Leah-Rose Bella are my favorites!

I also love the suggestion of Audrey-Rose Bella. I think that is really pretty. :)

I agree with 2nd posters comments on using Ella/Elle with Bella/Belle. I think Bella sounds better too having 2 syllables.

GL!

I think that just Bella-Rose is really beautiful. I don’t think it matters that it is popular. It is a little unique being a double fn and it has special meaning to you.

I also like Bella-Rose. I would avoid Stella-Rose because it is a brand of wine (which tastes fabulous, BTW!)

I’m having a hard time coming up with something that sounds good with Bella/Belle as a MN, although I love the name.

I also like
Ava-Rose
Gracie-Rose
Julie-Rose

or how about
Rose-Ann
Rose-Mary

What about Annabella Rose? or Annabelle Rose? Hyphen it if you must (Anna-Bella or Anna-Belle) but it just seems to flow MUCH better than any of your choices. You could still use the nn Annie if you like. or Isabelle/a Rose.
