Sara vs. Sarah
Which spelling of this name is your favorite. I have literally loved the name Sara/h since I was a small child. When I was 5 and my sister was born, I insisted that she be called Sara/h and was devistated when my parents chose a different name. Sara/h is and always will be my favorite name. So, now I must decide which spelling to use for my baby girl, due this February. Thanks for the help! -Heather

I like Sara. My name is Sara. It means princess. I LOVE IT...I would go with Sara. The "H" is just an unnessisary letter.

My little girl is Sara. I personally like it without the "h". But when I try to find things monogrammed in gift shops and other little gifts, it’s always Sarah. It’s hard to find just Sara without it being custom.
Both are equally pretty, so you can’t go wrong either way!

I think it depends what "feel" you’re going for. To me, Sara looks more modern and spunky, and Sarah looks more feminine and classic. Personally, I think Sarah looks more complete, but either way you spell it, it’s a great name!

I like Sarah---I agree that it looks complete with the H. When I see sara like that---it makes me cringe---I want to put an H on the end

Sara is often pronounced Sa-ra while Sarah is Sare-uh. Sara is actually the Welsh form of Sarah.

My name is Sarah and I prefer it spelled this way. It’s a more Biblical association, which I like :)

Sarah is a very, very, nice name. People who say they like Sara are trying to be too cool by cutting off the h!! I dislike it without the H!! Sarah was the original way to spell it, and is proper. Choose Sarah with an H... It’ll be well worth it!! Trust me. More people are called Sarah anyway. :)
