Theodore Owen vs. Bradford John
If it’s Theodore, we’ll call him Teddy or Ted when he gets older.
If it’s Bradford, then he’ll be a III and since Grandpa goes by Brad, Dad goes by Ford, he will go by John.

if you go with theodore i would call him Top his inls how cut is that but if you go with bradford which i like even more i would nn him bradley. gl

I agree, with the pp about Bradley. Either nn him Bradley or just do a variation on the grandfather/dad’s name and name your son Bradley John. When people go by their nn it gets so confusing, especially when he gets to school.
I think Bradley John would be a great way to honor his family.
Personally Theodore is really out dated. I couldn’t imagine naming my son Theodore. Even calling him Teddy would be hard for me.
So I think your best bet is to go with the Bradley thing. Good luck and I hoped I helped!

Sorry y’all, if it’s Bradford John, he will definitely be called John. Really don’t like Brad, Bradley, or Bradford but we feel some pressure to continue the name since my husband is a Jr.
I don’t think Theodore is outdated. It is actually a rising name because it has that old timeless charm of many of today’s popular names like Charlie, George, Henry, etc... Plus, we would call him Teddy as a little boy and transition to Ted as he gets older, so while Theodore would be his full name, his nn would be Teddy or Ted. This is also a family name actually, after my Grandpa Ted.

Trey means the III generation...my cousins name is George Andrew III & we call him Trey...
