Definitely boy. Not crazy about the spelling though. Sean or Shawn seem more natural.

Shon is very common spelling (Irish form of John - closely linked with Sean etc though I believe).
I’m not crazy about this name, but if I were going to use it I’d go with the Shawn spelling
Boy - its just looks like a misspelling of Sean or Shawn.

My sons name is Sean. My other son is Patrick and my daughter is Kelsey. When I picked the name Sean out my husband wanted it Shawn or Shon but I refuused lol!!

I’ve never seen it spelled Shon, but I’ve seen Sean, Shawn and Shaun used for both boys & girls, and Sian is usu. a girl’s name.

I’ve never seen the spelling Shon either, but the pn definitely screams boy to me. That being said...olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson is a very girly-girl!
