Hattie is darling.
Hadie, not so much.
First, I’m not sure how to pronounce it.
Haydee is way country ’bumpkin.
It’s also really close to Hades-as in the underworld, Hell, etc...
Hadie, rhymes with Maddie just sounds like a mispronounciation of Hattie to me.
Hadley, Hattie, Hallie....all winners.
Hattie was traditionally a nn for Harriet, btw.
I know a little girl called Mary-Harriet, which I think is adorable.
