Sister vs. in-Law’s vs. Name

I love the name Meredith for my first daughter due in February, but the woman my brother married last year is named Meredith. So can I still use it? It’s seems like it’s too early to name my children after the woman, but I really love the name.

if it bothers you that people might think you are naming her after your sister in law than don’t name her Meredith. you could use it as a middle name instead. GL!

maybe you could use another version such as Mariella or some other form of the name! good luck!

I think that would be weird. Use it as a mn or choose something else. I like Matilda and Miranda. Or just Edith nn Edie?
