A name vs. not an A name

Hi, we’re expecting another little boy! We’re wondering if we should use another A name because we have 5 year-old twins named Aidan Edward and Ava Elizabeth. Would it be weird to? Would it be weird not to? Do you have suggestions? Thanks!

I would use another a name merely because people do not expect it.

Asher is adorable!

People won’t expect an A name but if you use one on the new baby you definitely have a theme going, which I really dislike--so I say use a name that does NOT begin with A. GL!!

I really love the name Eamonn and I always thought it went well with Aidan.
Some other names I think would go well:
Ian
Jason
Caleb
Allan
Kieran
Micah
Liam

I don’t think you should specifically look for another A name or not look for one. Just find a name you like and if it starts with an A, it starts with an A. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.

I really like Asher or Ashton if you find a name you love that doesn’t start with an a i think it would be fine because the two that start with a’s are twins

other names
jaxon
logan
chase
kevin
connor
caleb

Thanks for the comments so far!

We really like Ian and Allan! We like Eamon too, but it sounds so similar to Aidan.

We like Allan because then all three names will start with A, but with a different sound. And we like Ian because it’s the same number of letters as Ava, but the same style as Aidan. Does that help you come up with more suggestions? Thanks again!

I wouldn’t use Eamonn. You’ve got enough of the same starting sound already. Can you imagine trying to decipher which kid you’re calling if they all start with AY?

I think Colin, Caleb or Benjamin would go well. Maybe Callum or Nicholas too.
