Actually, Magdalena is on our list. I find it extremely feminine.

My 4 year old dd is Agatha Emeline. I get nothing but the highest compliments on a darling classic. Agatha is her own, Emeline (pronounced Emma-line) is a family name. It’s a great name and Aggie is a cute nn.

I agree w/ first poster- don’t know how feminine it is. Maybe pair it w/ something more "girly":

You know, I have trouble with the "th," sound, and I’m not nuts about Aggie.

But, I think if I heard it on a child irl I’d be charmed.
It’s definitely got some class and history, and so far it hasn’t been rediscovered.

I’ll also toss out Augusta, one of my all time favs.

We’d call her Aggie.

I like Agatha Tess, Agatha Mae (but that’s my name).

We like more ultra femme names. Also, nothing overly popular or trendy.

Agatha isn’t a name I would choose personally but I could definitely see it fitting right in with the names like Eloise,Matilda,Eleanor etc. that have an old-fashioned feel but have become so popular again recently.
