Rylan vs. Rilynn

Ok, so we agreed on the same general name. BUT, I introduced the name to him as Rylan. Believing that Rylan looks too much like Ryan, he suggested a spelling of Rilynn. Although I still like it.. I see a difference in the way the names would be pronounced. Does anyone agree? Which do you prefer?

I think Rylan looks better, and is unlikely to be mistaken for Ryan. (That L sticks up above the other letters!) And you’re right, Rilynn may get pronounced RIH-lin. If Rylan still worries you, maybe try Rylin?

Rylan looks better this way and will only get spelt wrong the other way.

I would pronounce them the exact same way.I like his idea of Rilynn.It looks more girly to me.

I would suggest Rylan - boy
Rilynn - girl
