"W" vs. Boy vs. Names

Hello! My husband and I both have names that start with the letter "W". We would also like our son to have a first name that starts with a "W", but we can’t come up with a name we love. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The only one I really like is William. If that’s your husband’s name, though, then I’d say go with another letter. It would also get though if you decide to have more kids.

Wallace or Walter nn Wally would be cute. Also William nn Willy or Wesley nn Wes.

I wouldn’t use a W name. If you have more kids, it’d just be a hassle coming up with more W names you actually like. Instead, make a list of names that you like and compare with a list of names your husband likes and if it starts with a W, then great, if not, also great.

That being said, William is the best W name by far. Wyatt and Weston are too hick and trendy and Wesley is only ok compared to William.
