I think Isla is a beautiful spelling. Ila, honestly, to me is more confusing (I would want to pronounce it "ill-uh"). I think Isla is becoming well enough known that most people will say it properly, and if not, it’s easily corrected.

Isla Clare is very pretty. I prefer it without the hyphen, but that’s just my personal taste. Either way, it sounds lovely!

Thank you, the reason there’s a hyphen is bc it would a 1st name together. Then she’d have a middle name as well but the middle name is yet to be determined.

I agree with the first poster that Isla is a well known name that most people will pronounce it correcly. Ila is just confusing.

I like Ila Claire. I think an I in both names looks nice
