When I hear that name a car, the COBRA comes to mind....also its my friends dog name. I would prefer Shelley to Shelby

ive never liked it it remind me of the ords shall be and you have to be careful what you put it after it examples Shelby Hope Shall be Hope and shelby Black shall be black etc its very kiddy and sounds bad on a adult

When I hear Shelby, I think of the car, which makes me think of Gone in 60 Seconds. I also think of that commercial for pull ups where that lil girl says hi, I’m Shelby and I’m a big girl now. She’s cute, but her voice drives me crazy, lol! Anyway, I don’t care for the name, and I don’t think it’s half as pretty as Mallory Jada (very nice). GL!
