I do really like both Isla and Calista, although Calista doesn’t really flow with our last name:( I like Carly though-sort of similar:)

Thank you for the suggestions, any more and any for boys? Thanks again!

Kyrene Pron. Kuy-renie
I’m not sure she’ll get picked on with that name but I use to like it.

Christiana
Kyrene
Laurel
Deianeira (Greek Mythology Name)
Phaedra (means Bright, shining)
Ariadne

I was giving some less used names that I like.

Leith (pron. Leeth)
Maximillian
Rickard (nn Ricky)
Ross

I hope some of these help. Good luck :)

I’ve met little boys named Dashiell (Dash),Blaze, Shepard, and Ansel, all of which I love.

Unique girls’ names I love are Briar, Adair, Poppy, Penelope, Simone, Araminta, Flannery, Waverly, Verity, and Georgia.

I know of little girls named Selah (say-la), Tirzah (Tear-za), Anya, and Arly.

My older son knows a girl called Devany (de-von-ee)

Oh, and kids almost never get made fun of because of their names...I used to teach junior high, and kids who were picked on almost always had something that made them vulnerable (bad personal hygiene, difficult personality, small or large build...)
There is No good reason for any child to be picked on, but I wouldn’t lose a lot of sleep over the name being the cause, unless it rhymes with or sounds like something (I would avoid Galen, for example).
