I never heard of Brette Alyssa. It’s cute/different. I like Alyssa for a first name too, but I’m not sure if it’s too common.

Well Brett is a unisex name so if you don’t like that, don’t use it. And no, Alyssa is not too common... it’s dropped a lot... granted it went up from when I was first named Alyssa but it’s a cute name, and I love the nn Lyss with it, I used it all my life! Also, it’s no more popular than Lacey or Jocelyn

Not fond of Lacey at all. Alyssa is a beautiful name and I really like Jocelyn too.
