London vs. boy vs. girl

If you heard/saw the name London, would you assume it was a boy or a girl? Do you think the name LOndon would be misread as LAndon? For some reason, I’ve been really worried about this.

We are thinking of using it for a girl, and my husband would like her middle name to be Isabella. How does London Isabella sound?

I think of London as a girls name. There is a disney channel show with a girl named London, never heard it on a boy. I think London Elizabeth is very sweet and pretty

I would assume it’s a girl, too. I associated it with the Disney character as well, so seeing it on a boy to me would be odd. I think it could be mistaken for Landon, but hopefully it wouldn’t be too big of a problem. London Isabella sounds nice together! Good luck :)

Love the name Londyn..it is on my list of favorite girls names..this spelling is a little more feminine...however..not a fan of Isabella for a first or middle name..it is one of the top 5 most popular name and has been for a long time..

I don’t know this Disney character (even with 2 young ones) and I thought BOY for sure.

Isabella London sounds the best to me...very pretty.

London to me however you spell it is a girls name. and personally i think you can only spell it London.
London Isabella is gorgeous!
