Jovie? vs. yes vs. no

Ok so I came across the nickname Jovie in one of these polls and I really like it as a first name (like Jovie in the film Elf). I think it’s beautiful. I looked it up (very hard to find) and it means joyful. I really like it and am thinking of naming my daughter this (if approved by dh!) What do you think? Names we like already are Lola, Clara, Elsie and Ginny (we like cute, short names!) We have four-year old Emmie and two-year-old Milo.

I think Jovie is sweet. Not necessarily my taste in names, but it is undeniably sweet. I think it fits Emmie and Milo as well.

Lola--cute for a little girl, but don’t think it ages well.
Clara--LOVE
Elsie--it is precious and a long time ago it would’ve been appropriate. but now i think the relation to the cow would ask for teasing.
Ginny--cute cute cute.

I’d say Jovie, Clara or Ginny!

My daughter is Giovanna nn Jovie (is this where you got the name from, as I did a poll before you)!! She always gets complemented for her name (both her actual name and nickname).

Our daughter is Emmie Vivienne and our son is Milo Benjamin. I like Jovie Elizabeth, Jovie Evangeline and Jovie Madelaine. Thanks!
