Asher Emilio vs. Yes vs. No

I really want to name my son Asher Emilio but everyone dislikes it including my husband. He dislikes it the least of everyone but it’s still a firm dislike. What is your opinion of this name? Other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

if your husband doesn’t like it..how about Ashton as an alternative?..As for Emilio, i don’t see a problem if its going to be a middle name GL

I love Asher, but I hate Emilio. And you can’t choose a name for your son that your husband dislikes! That’s not fair.

Everyone else doesn’t matter as much, but your husband needs to be at least ok with the name. Does he have suggestions? Could you compromise using one you like and one he likes? Good luck. :)

I love both names but I don’t think that they flow great together.
I think it’s best to compromise with your husband and choose a name that both of you love.

A name that we both like is Amadeo and everyone hates that more than Asher.

I LOVE Asher. You could compromise and let him choose the middle name. That’s what my sister did, and her son responds to both Tristan and Alex, which her husband calls him.

Um, Amedeo is a definite no for me. I like both Asher and Ashton for a boy, but not so much Emilio.
