What can Leo be a nn for vs. other than Leonardo vs. or Leonidas??

I love the name Leo, but would like it to be a nn rather than a full name...but I don’t particularly love Leonardo or Leonidas. Leonardo is just the Italian form of Leonard, and I just think some of those strong Greek names sound ridiculous on little kids...and then when they get older, it’s a lot to live up to! What are your opinions?

I think Leopold is the only attractive name that gives the nickname Leo. I actually love the name Leo and have considered using it as a full first name for my future son. I have alot of middle names in mind for it, and you can even call him by his first and middle name. Ex: Leo Michael, Leo Samuel or Leo Wyatt. Lots of kids go by their first and middle name.

Leo is alright, but I think it’s odd. You don’t see a bunch of Capricorns? That and lions are what I think of when I hear Leo. And I don’t like it’s associate names, if you wanna do Leo, just do Leo - others sounds like old men.
