Would you consider Braden instead? That gets the donkey "bray" out of there and makes it easier for him to go by Brad if he chooses.

I’d choose something very classic and dignified for the middle name. I think it’s vital that kids who are starting out not in the greatest circumstances (young, single mom) have every advantage that their mom can give them, and one of the gifts you can give him that is absolutely free is a name that says "success."
Find a list of presidents of the United States. Look at their first and last names until you find the one that sounds perfect with Braden. (It will not be Taylor or Tyler.)

My full name is Lillan although I have never been called that name. I like Brayden Luke, James, and Matthew. Gabriel doesn’t sound bad either. Help? ~ Lily

Just because she is young and single doesn’t mean that her child can’t be successful. And the name has nothing to do with how successful he will be. That was kind of a rude statement.....

I like the spelling Brayden the best. He can still got by Brad if he chooses with that name. I get into bibical names such as Matthew, Luke, James, Issaac, Adam such as that. I believe they have good meaning and are strong. ~Lily

It wasn’t a rude statement at all. It was actually a very helpful thought. It is statistically shown that kids born to teen moms are less successful, on average. That doesn’t mean this child can’t be successful. In addressing that simple stat, the previous poster simply suggested that you don’t want to compound the situation with a name that will be hard to rise above.

I’m not a fan of Brayden, but if that’s the name you love, I agree with the pp who suggested spelling it Braden. What do you think of Braden William?

I like Brayden William, but I really do like Brayden Matthew. I think that is what I’m going to name my little guy. Thanks for everybody’s help and the advice is greatly appreciated. I know it isn’t going to be easy, but I’m going to do the best I can. thanks Lily

Okay first of all i love the name Braiden because thats the name i have picked out so fair and i was on here looking for a middle name....and for who ever thinks that just because a kid as a young single mother does not mean that kid is not going to be successful for what ever age they are because i was 14 years old i give birth to my son Ethan and guess what he is a start a student and he out going he loves sports and school so for you to say something so stupid sound like you need to grow up some because to every teenmom and single women it dont matter what you name your child you could name it peter for crying out lound but you know what that baby had its name before it come to earth so god done know what ur going to name it.it just ant it you yet..
