Addison is MUCH more common than Allison! I voted for Allison because it is more feminine and less trendy.

Addison is my sisters name and my middle name is Allison. So I personally love both.

They are both overused. Addison is popular right now, and Allison has been popular for roughly the last 20 years. They’re nice names, just not my style. I prefer more timeless variations: Alice, Adelaide, Adele, Adeline, Elise, etc.
