Andrian "Andy" vs. yes or vs. no?
It is an old Slavic name, but is it too strange in English? We love the sound of it, but my husband is worried about it sounding too much like Andrea. Middle name would be James. Would alternative spellings help? Ex: Andrien

I like it! Don’t mess with the spelling.. I can’t see how any other spelling would make it more "mainstream."

When someone sees his name they might think hes a girl at first because i thought it was Andrea misspelled. But i like Andrew nn Andy. GL
