no, the correct pronunciation of the name in english is LEENA. we have discussed using the Lina spelling instead but, we dont like the look of it as much. i’m not too worried about pronunciation since most people are pretty familiar with the name. thanks!

All the Lena’s I have known have spelt their name Lena and it is pronounced LEENA. I prefer that spelling. If you were to spell it Lina I would think it was pronounced Line-A. So the spelling you have is perfect and I absoulutly adore the name Lena Sofia!

I love the name Lena! My sis in law is named Lena and it is pronounced Leena. I don’t see how anyone would pronounce that any differently? Don’t change the spelling it is perfect this way! Not a fan of Vida at all. Doesn’t sound like a name to me. Go with Lena 100%!!!! Yayy!
