Abigail nn Abbi vs. Abigail
Hi. My boyfriend & I are expecting our first child. If its a girl she’ll be named Abigail. We were just going to call her Abigail but my best friend said we should call her Abbi. I adore Abbi so Im up for it. What do you guys think? Opinions please. Thanks -Christina

Nononono! Abbi is a nickname! When she gets older she may not want to introduce herself as just Abbi. As in, "Name please?" -"Abbi Parker" "Abigail?" -"No, just Abbi"

I like that name! We wanted to use that too, but my MIL named her dog that. My Sis in law had the same prob, wanted to use a name but a dog in the family was named that too! Stupid peeps naming their dogs all the good people names! lol But yes, we liked Abigail Lynn or Abbie Lynn for short. Very cute!

Use Abbi as a nn but for a professinal adult Abigail would be better!
