Charlotte vs. with vs. last name?

Hi - We have a long last name (10 letters), but love the name Charlotte. Do you think Charlotte + a 10 letter last name is too long or no? It’s only a two syllable first name so we think it "sounds" great together, just not sure about the number of letters? Thanks!

I understand why you wouldn’t want to do this, so it’s up to you... But if you throw the last name out there, it might help us to decide if it sounds ok.

it doesn’t matter how many letters a name has, it’s the syllables in the names that you should be thinking about. my only concern would be that Charlotte is a very popular name and set to become even more common

I think it’s perfectly fine. I agree that it really matters with syllables bc you don’t want it to be a mouthful every time you say her name. Charlotte is a pretty choice, if you like it then use it! :)

It doesn’t matter how many letter are in a full name. I know someone called Francesca Churchhouse... I didn’t stop and say "wow that’s a long name"... Charlotte is a gorgeous, classic name and I would use it if you love it.

Well I love Charlotte and I dont think it’ll matter because if at school or something she can always write her nickname such as Carli
