Evalie Marturia vs. Evalea Marturia

So we’re going with Evalea/ie but we’re having trouble with the spelling. The EA spelling is what I originally found in the book I was looking at, and I know it will need some explanations at a frist glance, but I can’t help but think it’s so much more unique and pretty than the IE spelling. Which just reminds me Baylie, Kylie, Mylie, Katie, ect. EA spelling reminds me of Avonlea too lol. What do you think?

Evaleigh or Evalee might be other options.

Are you pronouncing it ee-vuh-lee?

or eva-lee?

or ev-uh-lee?

I have to say, at first glance, I think Evalea looks more appealing.

I share concerns about the youthfulness and trendiness of the ie endings.
I also think it’s a lot of i going on with your ln.

On the other hand, I do think Evalea is going to get pronounced like Leah at the end.

it’s pronounced Ehv-uh-lee, like Emily actually, only with a V instead of an M. All the "I"s was another thing that bothered me too, so I think we’re thinking the same thing. I don’t think I’m worrried about correcting people when they say "leah" accidently.

Out of the choices, Evalea is definitely the "prettiest". But I think Evaleigh looks even better.

And personally, when I read it, I read it like Ee-valie, not Eh-valie. So I think you will be correcting people anyway.

i like the evaleigh and also evalee.... those are both very unique and cute.. if i have a girl im naming her bentleigh so i like the leigh spelling
